<description>Does Google Alter How We Think About Nanotech?
Every technology that feeds us information has the potential for altering the way we think.
The managers of Google (or other equivalent system) may or may not consciously manipulate our thinking. But such manipulation is almost inevitable Every news item presented to us: via radio or TV, news papers or the computer changes our vie of the world, not only by its content but also by how it is presented.
There is no escape from this: Journalism is not simply making us aware of what is going on. It is a subtle means o making us react to it in well-determined. The Press may be free, but those at its disposal is not.
Google is just one of many that are fast changing the world and also changing how react to the changes.
