With the Texas State Board of Education continuing its debate over social studies curriculum standards this week, Shannon Bream of Fox News speaks with a group of parents from Maryland and Virginia about how much religion should be included in public school history classes.
Considering the diverse faiths present in the country today, it will be difficult to incorporate religion into the school curriculum; on the other hand, I think it would help if children are given a clear and honest review about certain faiths; and learn to respect other people’s diverse beliefs.
