BioLogos Stays Hush on S&R Meeting Details
Here’s what we know: Next month, The BioLogos Foundation will bring together 52 scientists, theologians, and pastors for its first-ever workshop on how to bridge the science-religion divide. Timothy Keller, pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church and author of The Reason for God, will host the event, and discussion will focus on seven white papers commissioned by BioLogos and written by a diverse group of Christians, including American religious historian Mark Noll, biologist Jeff Schloss, Old Testament scholar Bruce Waltke, and astronomer Jennifer Wiseman of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
But who else will attend is being kept a secret, as is the exact location of the meeting (which will be somewhere in New York). The reason? According to BioLogos, some attendees want their participation in the closed meeting to remain confidential.
We did find out that Rick Warren was on the invite list, but won’t be in attendance.
